The Mortal Instruments
This review is about the book series, The Mortal Instruments, by Cassandra Clare. It's about a girl named Clary Fray who finds out that she's a shadowhunter, an ancient race that hunts demons. Throughout the series, she finds out more and more about the world of the shadowhunters and her family.
There are 6 books total in the series (City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, and City of Heavenly Fire), as well as a prologue series called The Infernal Devices (the books are Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, and Clockwork Princess). There will soon be another series called The Dark Artifices written after the events of The Mortal Instruments. All are worth reading.
All in all, this book series is amazing. Its funny, sweet, and suspenseful. I recommend this series for everyone who likes young adult fiction. Just trust me, you'll love it.
